For the sixth year in a row, the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business MBA program has ranked in the top 20 of U.S. public universities.
In the latest MBA ranking released by Poets & Quants, Katz ranked No. 39 in the U.S. and No. 17 among U.S. publics. The No. 39 ranking places Katz alongside programs at Arizona State University, Ohio State University, and the University of California-Irvine.
Katz has jumped a total of five spots since last year’s Poets & Quants ranking, passing programs at Purdue University and Boston University. Katz had the largest ranking improvement among the top 40 schools.
Due to the school’s dedication to experience-based learning and exceptional ROI, the Katz MBA ranks as a top 40 program in the U.S. and top 20 among publics in major rankings from the Financial Times, Forbes, The Economist, and Poets & Quants.
Katz is one of only 42 business schools across the country placed in all major MBA rankings this year, which is only 5 percent of all AACSB accredited schools and less than 0.3 percent of schools worldwide granting business degrees.
