Description

This course will introduce the student to several of the best known multivariate methods to make them familiar with the terminology and mathematical language of multivariate methods, and provide them with practical experience using multivariate techniques. Some of the methods covered will be comparisons of multivariate means, multivariate regression models, principal component analysis, factor analysis, canonical correlation, discriminant analysis, and clustering and distance methods. This course requires basic knowledge of matrix algebra, probability theory and mathematical statistics.
