Description

Effectively managing projects is one of the most common and important challenges in today’s business environment. This course introduces the basic concepts and methodologies in project management, and considers how they help in understanding and in dealing with the complexities of managing projects.

Special emphasis will be given to the application of decision technologies in scheduling, in managing resources, in speeding up a project, and in dealing with uncertainty. Please note that, since software can be important in applying the concepts and methodologies in practice, we will illustrate the use of software in the lectures and utilize it in the exercises and case projects.
