Our Students

Talent is the heart of a successful organization. The objective of the Katz Career Management Center is to provide companies with graduates from a cutting-edge business school program who can add value to their organization on day one. Poets & Quants has recognized Katz as a “best-kept secret” among recruiters.

We work with students in the MBA program, as well as students in our Specialized Master's degree programs. Accounting, MS Finance, MS Marketing Science, MS Management Information Systems, MS Supply Chain Management, along with an optional Business Analytics degree add-on.
When you choose to make an offer to a Katz student, the Career Management team requests that you provide the student:

  • Full-time Job Offer: Until December 4, 2020, or three weeks from receipt of official offer letter, whichever is longer, to respond to a full-time job offer.
  • Internship Offer: Until February 19, 2021, or two weeks from receipt of official offer letter, whichever is longer, to respond to an internship offer.

Hiring International Students

International students possess a unique set of skills and experiences that make them an asset to U.S. employers and multinational corporations. These skills and experiences include:

  • Multilingual skills, multicultural perspective, awareness and knowledge of global business practices and markets
  • Ability to access a worldwide network of peers that can be invaluable to a U.S. employer
  • Work experience within a multi-national team environment
  • Strong work ethic, high degree of motivation, and ability to perform in today's marketplace
  • Familiarity and understanding of American business practices and theories learned through their experiences while enrolled at Katz

International students who are in the U.S. as an F-1 or J-1 student (non-immigrant) are generally eligible to apply for student work authorization upon completion of their academic program/studies, provided that they secure the necessary authorization before beginning employment. Work authorization and procedures can vary according to the student's immigration visa.

Hire Katz Students for Micro-Internships

Interested in having a Katz student or recent graduate help with a short-term business task via a micro-internship? What are they?

Low-risk, short-term assignments typically for one student that require minimal supervision, are mutually beneficial, and can be easily implemented.

How do we get started?

Setting up a micro-internship is simple! Organizations should develop a detailed project scope that includes the length of the project (typically 2-4 weeks), the tasks associated with the project, and the stipend amount they will pay (average: $200-$500). Micro-internships do not need to be completely new projects- Katz students can also lend their skills to support tasks that are already in progress.
